What’s wrong with Windows Vista? As a casual computer user, am I going to run into problems, or is it just computer wizes that don’t like it for advanced stuff?
Can xp still be bought if Vista really isn’t good?

It all depends on a few variables.. like what specs the system you’ll be running it on has, because vista requires at least 2 Gigs of RAM to run properly and 3+ Gigs are recommended, it takes up more hardrive than Xp and needs a more powerful processor. Essentially there’s nothing "wrong" with Vista.. and it does have much better security than Xp when it comes to viruses and mal-ware. And personally I would recommend it over Xp because there are just so many new little features that once you get adjusted to can make computing a lot easier and quicker. =)
So basically, if your system can run it well enough then I consider it worth getting and don’t find it much trouble at all.
And here you’ll find lots of helpful information on how you might get Windows Xp and even why you should get Vista instead. http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windows-xp/future.aspx
Hope I helped, good luck. =)

As also a casual computer used, I don’t have a problem with Vista. My husband says it sometimes annoys more advanced computer users. And, he thinks xp might be bought on Ebay—but putting in on a laptop might be difficult.
