SEO, in the internet world at least, stands for Search Engine Optimization.
It involves attempting to design web pages/sites so that the page will ‘rank’ well in the search engines for certain key (search) words. A website that shows up near the top of the search engine results can have a lot of traffic directed it’s way. In the web world: traffic = success.
