In a PC to PC conversation will it be possible to know the place from where the other person is calling us? Thank you.

Possibly, depends on the service and protocol used. Something like tcpdump or wireshark or even netstat may show the remote IP address of any active session and that could reveal the location of the other person. This is not guaranteed, as if the conversation is going through an intermediate server the IP address that would be shown will be that of the server, not the other person.
