Suggestions for a good computer microphone?
Never used one before, but I need to make a video screen capture with an audio voiceover. I’m using camstudio for the capture.
Anyone have tips on what kind of microphone would be good, (and not to pricey)?

You could look into a lower end one from Microsoft if you are still looking for something better. And a headset is usually best because it’s made to pick up just your voice and is directed towards you instead of in a general direction like a desk mounted one.
Hope I was of some help, good luck. =)

Just to update this thread, I ended up with an inexpensive ($10) logitech mic from walmart.
I have to speak loudly, and can’t talk directly into the mic or it picks up my breath. But if I keep it a bit to the side, it works fine for the small job I am doing.
If I was doing extensive recording work I would probably want something better.
