After a stomach virus with vomiting like that, I would suggest that fluids would be the most important thing.
Sucking on some ice chips to start, then maybe a little apple juice or pedialyte if she will drink it (my 6 year old won't).
Then moving on to something easy like a cracker or two, and if that goes well, soups and a little more solids.
It's hard when they start feeling better and are famished, but you know they need to take it easy at first. |

I agree with Sally, starting slow with ice chips, apple juice, maybe even a little sprite/7-up.
But what my daughter always asks for, and it seems to be good, is egg drop soup from our favorite chinese restaurant. |

I've always been told to feed the BRAT diet when kids have upset stomachs. This consists of Bananas, Rice, Applesauce & dry Toast. Lots of clear liquids as well. Barbara |
