Any advantage to sticking a film camera? Quality or ease of use wise? My current is film but I've tried out some digital and they seem pretty easy, but they still sale film… so there must be something advantage. This will be for casual use.

today's digital cameras produce images equal to those produced by film cameras. that might not have been the case a few years ago. digital pictures are easier to share… you can e-mail, upload, and post them on web sites, etc. also, the prices of digital cameras have come way down in recent years. i would definitely recommend you go digital!
