Are all these recent earthquakes related?

Part of one large movement perhaps?

I’m not a pro at earthquake stuff, but from what I understand, there are lots of earthquakes going on all over, much more often that most of us realize. Many unreported in the news because they are in low population areas.

There just happen to be a couple of strong ones lately, but the expert I heard interviewed on TV a little while back said they were not directly related.

An interesting 7 day earthquake map is here:

There’s an article on fox news about the earthquakes now. It says (amongst other things):

"According to the USGS Earthquake Center website, earthquakes can also occur in clusters, which may explain why this year has been front loaded with so much activity. Statistically, the globe is on track, so far this year, to be relatively average in terms of the number of larger quakes that hit annually. An average year will produce 17 quakes with a magnitude 7.0 or greater."
