The primary reason for Community Knowledge is the sharing of knowledge. The asking and answering of questions. Working together to learn from each other.
Along those same lines, we work together to share in our community's success. We have two programs that can benefit webmasters who help answer questions.
Site Promotion
If you have your own website, you can include a link to your site with your answers.
This helps promote your site and, if you answer questions related to your site, helps establish your expertise in that area. The link will appear on all your answers, regardless of whether yours is selected as the 'best' by the questioner.
If you do search engine optimization, you will quickly realize the benefit of having a relevant, one way, do-follow, link posted with your answer.
Community Knowledge is a family friendly site and only links to family friendly sites are allowed. Personal, commercial, e-stores, and blogs, are all ok as long as they do not have offensive themes, language or images. Links to pharmacy, casino, mature and controversial sites are unacceptable.
After entering your website into your Community Knowledge member profile, please allow several days for it to be reviewed before it will begin appearing on your answers.
AdShare/Revenue Sharing
If you have a Google AdSense account, you can participate in our AdShare/Revenue Sharing program. If your answer is selected by the questioner as the 'best' answer, you are rewarded with a 50% adshare on that page.
You will need your own Google AdSense account. If you don't already have one, you can apply here. You do have to have your own website to apply for an AdSense account, and it has to be approved by Google before they will open your account. You can not use Community-Knowledge.com as your website - you must have your own.
Once you have a Google AdSense account, copy your AdSense publisher ID (and optionally, your ad slot number, which is used for tracking), and enter them into your Community Knowledge member profile.
When you answer a question, and the questioner selects your answer as the 'best', your AdSense publisher ID will appear on the Google ads on that page 50% of the time. Google will track views and clicks and pay you when someone clicks through the ads with your publisher ID on them.
It is your responsibility to follow Google's Terms of Service (TOS). At this time, Google does not have any restrictions that would interfere with our AdShare program. Please note that we are not affiliated with Google in any way, and they may change their TOS in the future. If that happens, we will look into alternate programs.
Google's AdSense program is very strict about not clicking on your own ads (ads with your own publisher ID on them). To help you avoid accidently clicking on your own ads while on Community-Knowledge.com, you will not be shown ads with your own publisher ID as long as you are logged on. If you stay logged in to your Community Knowledge account, you can browse and use the site freely and click on any ads you are legitimately interested in without having to worry about whether your ID is on them or not.
Please review our Terms Of Service before participating in these programs, as they include important information you need to understand before participation.
If you have any questions about these programs, please contact us.
