Should young children be drinking whole or skim milk? (ages 3 and 5 and not overwieght).

I always peferred the 2% for my kids. Not as much fat as whole milk but it does have some (and i think, tastes better than skim). I'm not sure what a doctor would recommend but mine never had a problem with the 2%.

Children over the age of two can and are encouraged to drink milk other than whole milk… What percent they choose is entirely up to you…. Skim, 1% or 2%… any is okay.
