I have developed an new form of entertainment for partys, night clubs etc. and I have a local company interested in me and my performance. However I am not sure what my options are at this point to protect my idea and get paid what I am worth.

Tom Olsen's law office has an free answer line–they were very prompt in answering my question. I'm not sure if they deal in copywrite type problems–but it's worth a phone call.
