It is depend upon the configuration of plasma TV.if you are going for high and latest configuration it will cost high.
There are a no. brands for plasma TV but i have mentioned few good brands such as Pioneer, Panasonic, Sony, Samsung, etc
On the low end, a plasma television up to 42 inches typically costs $800 to $1,500.
Panasonic TH-42PZ700U, which sells for about $1,350 to $1,600 and the Vision VP42 which sells for $650 to $1,000.
