The idea for Community Knowledge had been percolating in my mind for several years...
The concept was simple enough. Build an online community where people helped people. A site based on sharing both knowledge, and success.
One day at the end of class, my Tae Kwon Do Master spoke about the rewards of teamwork. Ok... he often speaks of the rewards of teamwork. But after several years of martial arts practice and nearing my black belt level, things were finally beginning to sink in. While he spoke, I had the sudden realization that IT WAS TIME to build that online community I'd been thinking about.
So here we are...
Together, We Have The Answers
Pooling our knowledge, working together, we have the answers. From how to bake an incrediable cake (that one with the cream cheese frosting!), to what stars make up Orion's Belt. Just ask the questions you have, and answer the questions you know.
Sharing The Success
There are many ways to succeed when you join our community.
First, of course, is getting answers to your questions.
Another way to succeed is by answering questions. When you help someone else learn, grow, or accomplish a task, you learn and grow as well. It feels good to help others!
If you have a Google AdSense account, you can participate in our AdShare/Revenue Sharing program. If your answer is selected by the questioner as the 'best' answer, you are rewarded with a 50% adshare on that page. Details.
If you have your own website, you can include a link to your site with your answers. This helps promote your site and, if you answer questions related to your site, helps establish your expertise in that area. The link will appear on all your answers, regardless of whether yours is selected as the 'best' by the questioner. Details.
From the good feelings you get by helping others, to the solid benefits of our AdShare and Site Promotion programs, Community Knowledge is dedicated to sharing it's success with the reason for it's success - you!
